Next Generation Committee

In a step to develop the next generation of leaders and Directors of the South Australian Produce Market, a committee of 12 talented young growers, wholesalers and retailers will meet for the first time Thursday September 16 for the inaugural meeting of the Next Generation Committee.

Joanna Andrew, South Australian Produce Market Limited Chairman, said “We are delighted to report our Next Generation Committee has been selected from an exhaustive list of applications.  It was encouraging to see the number of applications received.”

“The Next Generation Committee will provide a collective voice to young persons engaged in the fruit and vegetable industries on a range of issues on the agenda including our circular economy, a B2B online purchasing platform, market branding and market operations.”

The Committee includes an impressive list of talented young South Australians who will select a Chair at the inaugural meeting at 8am Thursday September 16.
