Site induction

It is a mandatory requirement that a comprehensive formal site induction is completed by all individuals who undertake activities across the site.

Inductions are completed online or can be arranged to be completed at the Operations office. The induction process includes completing an Access ID Card application and a safety video which details the site rules followed by a questionnaire. Once these steps have been completed you will be issued Access ID Card and permitted access to the site.

Your Access ID Card must be carried with you at all times and presented upon request to Market Officials or South Australian Produce Market management.  Failure to comply with this requirement may result in immediate removal from the site.

  • Face Mask to be worn at all times

  • Negative Covid-19 test within previous 72 hours;
  • Face Mask to be worn at all times whilst on onsite;
  • Provision of onsite COVID-19 vaccination HUB to encourage take-up.

SAPML recommends, in line with the SA Government health advice, that all persons receive an approved COVID-19 vaccination.  We also respect the right of choice of our Market Community and have therefore provided a non-pharmaceutical option.  As such, SAPML will introduce the above new Conditions of Entry for all Market Users.

Implementing these new Conditions of Entry will require all Market Users to complete a Declaration – Conditions of Entry COVID-19.  This Declaration is available for download on the SAPML website and it is also available from our Administration Office, Operations Office or the Gatehouse. With South Australian borders opening, SAPML encourages all market users to start wearing mask as soon as possible

On 1 December 2021 access ID’s will be deactivated for those that have not provided a Declaration and Vaccination Certificate**. Entry will only be provided via the front gate when a negative COVID-19 test* [no older than 72 hours] is provided. Medical exemptions will be assessed on a case by case basis.

SAPML encourages you and your staff to complete the Declaration and supply the required documentation prior to 1 December 2021 to avoid delays at the Gatehouse.  SAPML will have Market Official(s) on the Market floor to assist with the process and Administration staff located in the Market Café to receive documentation.  You are also able to provide this information via email
