On the first Sunday of every month we will hold a special Art/Craft Market day.  We will be dedicating an area nearest to the car park – a fully undercover space – exclusively for art/craft/market stalls.

We hold this special event on the first Sunday of every Month.  Dates for 2023 are as below – please register your stall.

  • Sunday 3 December

We will be conducting marketing to let visitors know that this will be a special market day with lots of home based businesses to come and support.

We would like to invite musicians and street entertainers to busk at the SA Farmers market, Every Sunday from 6am – 1pm.

Buskers will find it a worthwhile location to share their talents with a busy market where most customers still carry cash.

The SA Farmers Market has 700 onsite car parks provided at no additional cost to your entry fee.

Entry is $1.50 per person (free to children 18 years and younger when accompanied by an adult).

Entry fee payable by cash only at the Burma Road pedestrian entry point.  Cash or Card accepted at Merchant Crescent vehicle entry point.

The on site car park can only be accessed via the entrance gate located on Merchant Crescent.

Street parking can be accessed on Burma Road and Diagonal Road.

Pedestrian entry points are available from the main gate house on Burma Road (near diagonal road intersection) and from Diagonal Road.

The main gates for public vehicle entrance to the onsite car park is located at Merchant Crescent, Pooraka.

There is a gate on Burma Road – this is for PEDESTRIAN access only. There is no access for public vehicles to enter the site from the main gate on Burma Road.

There is an entry gate on Diagonal Road – this is for PEDESTRIAN access only. There is no access for public vehicles to enter the site from the entrance on Diagonal Road.

Entry fee is $1.50 per person cash or card. Children are free.

The SA Farmers Market will be open to public buyers from 6am – 1pm.

Our new location is fully undercover and has some 700 car parking spaces on site at no additional cost.

The market is strictly NO Smoking.

Dogs are not permitted at the market.

These are the Market Rules which to all attendees at the Market (except Vendors who have separate and more comprehensive Rules apply to them). In short, these Rules apply to all members of the public. 

It is a condition of entry to the Market that all attendees agree with South Australian Farmers Market (SAFM) to abide by these Rules.  If an attendee does not agree to abide by these Rules, the attendee may and must leave the Market within 15 minutes of entry to the Market.

Gates open for seller set up from 4:30am – 6am. NO SELLER VEHICLE ACCESS after 6am.

Spaces are allocated on a first come basis – no need to book.

A stand is the size of a standard vehicle and are charged at $40.

Sites are unpowered.

Unfortunately we do not accept food vans or sellers of processed foods.  SA Farmers Market is a fresh produce and bric-a-brac market.

Sellers MUST wear a high vis vest for set up and set down.  If you do not have one you will need to purchase one at the gate upon arrival.
