Drive Through COVID Clinic Now Open

We were pleased to have the Hon Stephen Wade the Minister for Health and Wellbeing at the markets to open the SA Produce Market Drive Through Vaccination Clinic today.

We are delighted to be partnering with SA Health ensuring we do our part in getting our Horticultural industry workforce vaccinated.

With a workforce of over 13,500 permanent and 24,000 seasonal workers across our regions, we hope this hub continues to provide the necessary outreach to the Horticultural industry and associated supply chains.

We encourage those in the horticultural industry to utilise this clinic to vaccinate their workforce and believe the extended hours and drive through operations will encourage uptake as we work towards vaccination targets in SA.

With a 22ha site that is much unused during normal business hours the Market lended itself to being a perfect location for a drive through clinic.

The market has also implemented new entry conditions effective 1 December, this drive through operation provides a solution more aligned with our new entry requirements to allow continued safe operations of our market.
