Ruby Grapefruit

The Ruby Red grapefruit is one of the most popular red varieties of grapefruit as it is known for its vibrant red colour, which is a result of the fruit’s high levels of lycopene, a potent antioxidant. Like many citrus fruits, grapefruit is loaded with both vitamin C and A which are nutrients shown to help boost your body’s immune system.  Ruby Red grapefruit is sweeter than other grapefruit types, making it an excellent choice for people who don’t like the bitter taste of traditional grapefruit. It’s also seedless, making it easy to eat and enjoy.  Ruby Red grapefruit can be enjoyed as part of your breakfast regime for a low calorie, healthy start to your day or added to many salads for that extra colour, sweetness and zing!

Snow Peas

Who doesn’t enjoy versatile Snow Peas! They are a tasty, slightly tender yet crisp edible-pod pea with flat pods and thin pod walls. They are eaten whole, with both the seeds and the pod and have a sweet flavour.  Snow peas are annual cool-season veggies and there are 2 varieties – tall and dwarf.  These are both fast-growing on vines with the tall variety can grow up to 2m and needs to be staked for support. Snow Peas can be enjoyed eaten raw or blanched and are a perfect addition to stir fries and salads.  Be sure to add these to your shopping basket to incorporate into your weekly meals.

Missile Apples

Locally grown in the Adelaide Hills, Missile apples have the perfect balance between crunchiness and juiciness, perfect for an on-the-go snack. Not only do they taste amazing but with a bright red, thin skin, super sweet flesh and a perfect size, these apples are an ideal addition to any family members lunch boxes. Keep an eye out for them in store to enjoy these juicy and flavoursome beauties!
