2022 Market Mens Health Challenge

Weight Loss Challenge

DAY ONE March 1, 2022

The lifestyle of the market community can be challenging. Finding time to take care of your health to eat well and exercise can be difficult given the nocturnal and extended work hours needed to keep the produce of South Australia moving.

A challenge has been set for the men of the market community to join in a 6-week weight loss challenge to shine a spotlight on the importance of looking after our health.

Dean Maddock and Tony Manno kicked off the challenge this morning with the week one weigh-in where participants step on a joint scale at 7am Monday mornings for the next 6 weeks.

Dean and Tony have each kicked in $1,000 each that will be donated to the Childhood Cancer Association and they have thrown out the challenge to the rest of the market community to join.

By 7:05am on the morning of the first weigh in Sam Blefari of Farmhouse Fresh also joined the challenge for the combined weigh in total of 292kgs.

Mens Challenge 2022

The challenge participants are asking the market community to either join in on the challenge – or sponsor the boys a per kg donation to encourage them to keep the course on their six week program or healthy eating and regular exercise and raise much needed funds for the Childhood Cancer Association.

For more details of the challenge – visit Dean Maddocks at Market Bag Supply Store 22 at the South Australian Produce Market.
